€23,95
Nepenthes 'Diana' is a carnivorous plant native to Southeast Asia and belongs to the Nepenthaceae family. This plant can grow to a height of approximately 30-40 centimeters and has a long, slender stem with horseshoe-shaped leaves that transform into insect traps. The traps consist of a cup-shaped lower part containing an acidic liquid and a lid-shaped upper part that acts as a door to prevent prey from escaping. Prey is lured into the trap by the sweet scent and vivid coloration of the leaves.
Nepenthes 'Diana' is an ornamental plant, popular for its exotic appearance and unique way of feeding.
It prefers indirect or partial light and a warm, humid environment. It is important to water the plant regularly and maintain high humidity around the leaves to encourage the growth and development of its traps. This carnivorous plant can be fed small insects that are attracted by the scent of the traps. Nepenthes requires careful attention and close monitoring of its growing conditions, but it is a fascinating and spectacular plant that can add an exotic and unique touch to your home.
