The peace lily (Spathiphyllum) is a charming, unique flower with green leaves and very decorative white blossoms.
To enjoy the beautiful white flowers, you must ensure the plant receives enough light and water throughout all seasons. It is good to know that this plant has beneficial properties, purifying the air in the rooms where it is placed.
Care instructions for Spathiphyllum:
Placement: bright but shaded, cool
Humidity: water moderately
Soil: neutral Dutch peat or a very loose mixture
Propagation: in spring and autumn by dividing the clump
Characteristics: The plant is sensitive to drafts and low temperatures. It blooms abundantly all year round. About 3-4 weeks after the flowers appear, the white cups gradually turn green. This is the time to remove them so the plant can form new buds.
