Coelogyne pulverula x tomentosa - large specimens!
Coelogyne pulverula × tomentosa is a hybrid of German origin, with long, pendulous stems inspired by those of its parent species. The fragrant flowers and pendulous growth habit make it ideal for a hanging pot or a spot where the stems can develop freely.
Conditions. Filtered light and moving air support growth; avoid moving the plant repeatedly while the stems are developing. Keep the plant stable, and do not cut the green stems after flowering until they dry naturally.
Care. Bright, filtered light, with no scorching sun; water thoroughly during growth, allowing the water to drain completely. Let the substrate approach dryness between waterings, but do not allow it to dry out completely. Apply diluted orchid fertilizer during the active growing season, and repot when new roots appear, using potting mix for vigorously growing orchids.
