Bulbophyllum sikkimense is an orchid species belonging to the genus Bulbophyllum, one of the largest orchid genera. This species is native to the mountainous regions of Asia, especially the Sikkim area in India, from which it gets its name. It is an epiphytic plant, meaning that in its natural environment it grows on other plants but does not extract nutrients from them.
The plant has small pseudobulbs from which lanceolate or oval leaves grow, usually dark green in color.
