Gymnocalycium mihanovichii Japan is a species of hybrid cacti, especially decorative due to its bright colors, which blooms periodically. They can be found in shades of bright red, pink, orange, and yellow.

Substrate: neutral Dutch peat or sand mixed with gravel
Propagation: by separating the pups from the mother plant or by seeds
Characteristics: Succulents and cacti should not be overwatered; too much water leads to plant rot. Cacti that rest in the cold during winter experience a dormancy that encourages abundant flowering the following year. To stimulate flowering, you can apply special fertilizer for cacti during the warm period.
