Philodendron scandens subsp. micans D15
The Philodendron (Philodendron) is included in the list of plants recognized for its air purifying qualities.
Philodendron or Philodendron is considered by NASA to be among the best plants for eliminating formaldehyde, especially when it is in high concentration.
Philodendron care instructions:
Location: Philodendron prefers a bright area, away from direct sunlight. However, it will also tolerate a darker area. The foliage will become greener if it is placed in a shadier area.
Watering: The soil must be neither too wet nor too dry. Water regularly, allowing the soil to partially dry between waterings. Make sure the pot has good drainage.
Soil: Philodendron prefers a nutrient-rich soil that retains moisture well.
This variety has nectar-producing glands on the back of the leaves. The nectar has the role of attracting ants in search of food - thus, the plant gains a supply of chemicals secreted by them, but also takes advantage of the aggressive way in which the ant colonies defend their territory and food source, protecting the philodendron from other harmful insects .
Note: Some specimens may have mechanical defects/scars and/or discoloration on the leaves.
