Opuntia microdasys ‘Rufida’, also known as bunny ear cactus due to its rounded pads arranged in pairs, is one of the most decorative and popular varieties of opuntia. The Rufida cultivar stands out through its dense, copper-rust colored areoles, which create a striking contrast with the deep green of the pads.

It is a very hardy succulent plant, perfect both for collections and for modern, desert-style decorations.
