Mammillaria painterii is a species of cactus native to Mexico, cherished by collectors for its compact appearance and beautiful flowers. The small, rounded stems are covered with tubercles bearing short, fine spines of white or yellowish color, giving it an attractive and orderly look. In spring, the plant blooms spectacularly, forming a crown of small flowers in shades of white or delicate pink at the top of the stems.
