Hoya benitotanii - a species with beautiful, thick, and fleshy leaves, glossy and slightly veined, measuring up to 14 cm in length and 5 cm in width. At first, they are strongly tinged with red (if the plant is grown in strong light), but as they mature, they turn plain green.

Flowers: The flowers are butter yellow, with slightly curved (rolled back) edges, up to 7 mm in diameter, with a pale yellow corolla. Each umbel can have up to 30 flowers, which emit a light citrus scent. The flowers last up to 7 days.

Light: Blooms well in strong indirect light.

Water needs: The soil should dry out between waterings. Prefers a well-drained mix. Water sparingly during winter.

Care: Low. Grows best supported on a trellis. During the growing period, fertilize with weak doses of manure.

Full name: Hoya benitotanii Philippines IML 1830, formerly also known as Hoya gigantangensis.

It is a hoya of intermediate temperature, preferring temperatures between 15-35°C.
