Aglaonema 'Ivy Green'

Aglaonema 'Ivy Green' is a decorative houseplant, easy to care for, being tolerant of low light conditions and infrequent watering.
Native to the Philippines, Aglaonema has decorative leaves, with slow growth, that beautify any space. It is one of the few plants that can survive solely under fluorescent lighting, making it an excellent choice for low-light areas.
NASA ranks Aglaonema among the top 10 plants recognized for its air-purifying qualities, due to its ability to remove benzene and formaldehyde from the air.

Light: Aglaonemas prefer indirect light but can also tolerate lower light levels. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

Watering: These plants prefer well-drained soil and need watering when the top 1-2 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Do not let the plant sit in water, as this can lead to root rot.

Humidity: Aglaonemas can tolerate low humidity levels but prefer a more humid environment. If the indoor air is dry, you can use a humidifier or place the plant on a tray with wet stones.

Temperature: The ideal temperatures for Aglaonema are between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. The plant does not tolerate cold temperatures, so make sure it is not exposed to cold drafts.
