Cattleya is an orchid that requires higher temperatures, between 20-22º C. In the warm season, water once every 3-4 days, allowing the substrate to dry slightly between waterings. It can be misted with water on the leaves in the morning and evening. In winter, when the plant rests, water once every 10-12 days, using less water. Fertilizer is applied once every 2 weeks during summer, and once a month during winter. Repotting is done every 1-2 years, using special bark for orchids.
