Hoya Australis, native to Indonesia, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu, Australia, has glossy green leaves. New shoots can be red in color.
Hoya australis flowers last a week and have the most incredible, strong spicy scent.
Characteristics: Hoya Australis grows and blooms easily, at a mature watering. After the appearance of the buds, the location should not be changed, because the buds may fall. It is recommended for beginners, because it is easy to root in a permeable soil. All varieties of the H. australis complex are very decorative, are not pretentious in care and bloom well from August to November.
