Epicattleya El Hatillo 'Pinta' BM/JOGA is a hybrid with fragrant flowers, resulting from the crossing of Cattleya mossiae x Encyclia tampensis, registered by H.Graf in 1977, awarded the Bronze Medal by the Japanese Orchid Growers Association. It features compact pseudobulbs and stiff green leaves, while the flowers are medium-sized, about 8 cm, pale yellowish-white with a contrasting red-purple lip. It blooms more frequently in summer, with multiple flowers on several stems, giving off an intense fragrance. It prefers strong indirect light, warm temperatures, and watering with drying intervals. It is valued for its compact growth, strong scent, and abundant flowering.
