Calathea Roseopicta Surprise Star
Calathea roseopicta is an ornamental plant, with a bushy appearance, that maintains lush foliage throughout the year.
Calathea is also special for another reason: at night its leaves close and in the morning they open again! This is why Calathea is also called the "living plant." The plant owes this ability to a small "joint" between the leaves and the stem. Light moves the joints and, as a result, Calathea's leaves open and close - sometimes accompanied by a rustling sound.
Placement: shaded area, with indirect light.
Optimal temperature: 16 - 27 degrees Celsius
Note: Calathea is a plant sensitive to temperature changes. Therefore, you may receive these plants with some leaf blemishes, but these do not affect the plant's vitality.
Height including pot approx. 40-50 cm.
Pot diameter 14 cm
The decorative pot is not included in the price.
