Acampe praemorsa is an orchid that can be found in the eastern Himalayas, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and in the Yunnan and Hainan provinces of China. It is a large-sized, single-stemmed species that grows in clumps (groups of plants, nests), developing as an epiphyte in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry forests, at altitudes from sea level up to 1600 meters. This plant should be cared for culturally like the Vanda genus.

Acampe praemorsa blooms more frequently in autumn, producing a very short inflorescence, a few centimeters long, with many flowers (10-12) in a cluster, placed close to the leaf axils. The flowers are small, fragrant, with a scent similar to hyacinth. The plant requires partial sunlight and higher temperatures, with regular watering and feeding throughout the year to bloom properly.

Flower size: 1.25 cm
Fragrant flowers: Yes
It is cared for like a Vanda orchid. Consult the care guide here.

The decorative pot is not included in the price.
