Rlc. Fantasy Star 'Siam Surprise'

Rlc. Fantasy Star ‘Siam Surprise’ (Rhyncholaeliocattleya Fantasy Star) is a hybrid of the Rhyncholaeliocattleya nothogenus (Orchidaceae family), created in 2009 by Noisuwan (Rlc. Toshie Aoki x Cattleya Brazilian Treasure).

Botanical characteristics:

• Flowers: Strong influence from Cattleya dowiana (almost 40%) usually produces large flowers in warm golden-yellow or cream tones, often with a contrasting lip. Good form, typical of modern Thai hybrids. Large, highly fragrant flowers.
• Growth habit: Vigorous, medium to standard-sized plant with robust pseudobulbs. Typical growth for Rlc.
• Special features: The ‘Siam Surprise’ clone is an appreciated Thai selection. A hybrid with good flowering potential and color contrast due to its parentage.
