Philodendron fibraecataphyllum (Philodendron sp. Peru)

Philodendron fibraecataphyllum, more commonly known as Philodendron sp. Peru - an endemic species from Peru notable for the appearance of its velvety, textured, and striped leaves, colored in shades of green and yellow.

The juvenile leaves have a heart shape, while the mature leaves transform, acquiring a spectacular three-lobed form.

Growth habit: climbing plant - requires support for upward growth. Develops strong aerial roots in conditions of high atmospheric moisture.
