Philodendron scandens 'Brasil', also known as Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil', is a very popular and easy-to-care for houseplant. It has unique, heart-shaped leaves that are green but with yellow or lime stripes or spots in the center.

Philodendron scandens 'Brasil' is very adaptable in terms of light, preferring medium light, but it can also tolerate lower light conditions. Although it likes humidity, it also does well in drier environments, which makes it ideal for most homes.

Watering must be done regularly, but make sure that the soil dries a little between waterings. Avoid letting water stagnate at the base of the plant to prevent root rot. Fertilizer can be applied once a month during the growing season, using a balanced fertilizer for indoor plants.
