Philodendron Paraiso Verde 2pp

Philodendron Paraiso Verde is a perennial herbaceous plant from the Araceae family, native to Central and South America. It is a popular houseplant, valued for its variegated leaves.

The leaves are elongated, up to 40 cm long and up to 15 cm wide. They have a heart-shaped base and taper towards the tip. Young leaves are light green with white or yellow spots. As they grow, the leaves become darker, and the spots enlarge.

The stem is long and slender, with nodes at regular intervals. The nodes are where the leaves and aerial roots emerge.

Philodendron Paraiso Verde is a relatively easy plant to care for. It needs indirect light but can also tolerate lower light. It should not be placed in direct sunlight, as the leaves can burn.

The soil must be well drained. The plant should be watered when the soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering should be avoided, as it can lead to root rot.

Specimens may also have leaves with imperfections.
