Philodendron Mottled Golden Dragon

Philodendron Golden Dragon - variety that stands out for its leaves.

This variety has nectar-producing glands on the back of the leaves. The nectar has the role of attracting ants in search of food - thus, the plant gains a supply of chemicals secreted by them, but also takes advantage of the aggressive way in which the ant colonies defend their territory and food source, protecting the philodendron from other harmful insects .
