Ocimum basilicum ‘Black Promise’ is a striking variety of basil, valued both as a fragrant herb and as an ornamental plant. Its large, velvety leaves have a deep purple, almost black color, providing a strong contrast in the garden or decorative pots. The scent is intense, typical of basil, suitable for Mediterranean dishes.
