The surface of the cactus is covered with sharp spines, arranged in areoles from which both radial and central spines grow. The spines are usually yellow or red. Flowering is one of the main attractions of this cactus, producing large flowers, usually red or orange, which stand out vividly against the dark green body of the plant.

Care:

1. Light: Notocactus haselbergii prefers direct sunlight. A sunny spot, such as a south-facing window, is ideal for this plant.
