Mammillaria painteri variegata is a variety of cactus native to Mexico, known for its attractive appearance.

This plant is small to medium in size and grows in a globular or cylindrical shape. Like most cacti in the Mammillaria genus, it has radial and central spines that can vary in length and thickness.

These cacti produce flowers, usually small, that can range in color from white to pink.

Like most cacti, it prefers well-drained soil and should be watered sparingly. It is also important to avoid excessive exposure to direct sunlight to prevent burns.
