Hoya wayetii - nagy példányok (19 cm-es cserép akasztóval)
Hoya Wayetii - an endemic species from the Philippines, notable both for its striking foliage and its delicate, red flowers with a honey scent. The flowers last up to 7 days, depending on the microclimate.
The leaves take on the famous boat-like shape, and the edges color when the plant is grown in strong light. Flowering is abundant in large specimens - the plant can bloom throughout the warm season if it receives strong light.
It is a hoya cactus - requires infrequent watering, tolerates drought well, and can go a long time without water. In case of dehydration, the plant usually recovers fully after a thorough watering. It tolerates short periods of lower temperatures, down to at least 10 degrees Celsius.
A very rewarding plant, recommended even for beginners, as it is not demanding regarding watering and adapts easily to any environment.
