Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo' D6 (2-3 plants/pot)

Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo' is a compact cultivar valued for its small leaves, frequently covered with extensive silver areas. The names 'Eskimo', 'Silver', and 'Super Silver' are often used for plants with a very similar appearance, without being botanical synonyms of the species. Each pot contains 2–3 plants for a fuller look. The silver foliage remains decorative all year round. A friendly, easy-to-grow cultivar.

Foliage and silver effect. The leaves are small and firm, and may range from heart-shaped to rounded, with slightly raised veins. The silver effect is splash variegation. Its intensity and distribution may vary between plants, between leaves, and as new growth appears. The remaining green tissue may develop darker tones in bright but filtered light.

Flowers and fragrance. Under good growing conditions, the plant may repeatedly produce umbels of small, creamy-white, pubescent flowers. The fragrance is sweet and may become more intense in the evening. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Botanical and commercial identity. Hoya krohniana Kloppenb. & Siar is an accepted species, published in 2009 and native to the Philippines. It is very closely related to Hoya lacunosa, with which it may be confused in horticulture; however, similarities in the flowers and venation do not make them synonyms in the taxonomy used here. 'Eskimo' is treated as a horticultural name for the silver selection. 'Super Silver' is a label frequently used for the same type of foliage, not another botanical name.

Commercial details. Each pot contains 2–3 plants at different stages of development, so density, vine length, and silver coverage may vary. The decorative pot is not included in the price.
