Hoya Compacta, also known as Hoya Hindu Rope or monstrous Hoya. It is a plant with pendulous, compact creepers, covered with twisted dark green leaves, occasionally with a splash of silver.
The flowers are white or pale pink, appear among the fleshy leaves, last 5-7 days and have an interesting scent similar to that of almonds.
The origin of the plant is still uncertain and debated - initially it was published as Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' being considered a cultivar of carnosa, but later it was republished as a distinct species, the name currently considered correct being Hoya compacta.
Other popular names for Hoya compacta: Tear of Our Lady, Wax Flower, Porcelain Flower, Hindu Rope, Indian Rope (rope)
Flower size: 1.5 cm and 30-50 flowers/umbela. They have the shape of large balls that can reach a circumference of 15 cm.
Flowering period: spring, summer. In any season if grow lights are used.
Duration of flowers: approx. 5-7 days. It varies according to the microclimate.

Placement: spaces with filtered light. Mature specimens tolerate exposure to the sun.

Watering: when the substrate is almost completely dry. The water must not pool.
