Hoya campanulata - species from Sumatra, first published in 1826. In the past, the plant was also published as Cystidianthus laurifolius or Hoya cystiantha, but eventually taxonomists agreed that it is a hoya. The plant is atypical and grows in the form of a shrub.
The flowers are impressive, measuring 2-3 cm, and appear in groups of 10-15 per peduncle, in mature specimens. The scent is subtle and reminiscent of citrus.
It is considered an easy-to-grow plant, as long as it receives regular watering and large temperature variations are avoided (in which case it will lose buds and leaves).

Fragrant flowers: YES
The decorative pot is not included in the price.
Height with pot included approx. 25 cm

Note for international shipments: This variety is very sensitive and may suffer when spending too much time in the box. When you order it, you assume this risk.

Some hoya species do not tolerate long shipments and temperature changes very well. Here are some known examples of plants that might have problems after shipments (and you will have to deal with them if you order them): macrophylla, vitellinoides (and the others related), danumensis (and similar growing plants), buotii, elliptica, deykeae, wallichii, campanulata, perak.. and there are many more like this. Plants affected by transportation can present issues like: loss of roots, falling leaves.
