Full description and specifications

Hoya australis 'Kapoho' was discovered in Hawaii, the city of Kapoho. It is easily differentiated from the rest of the australis varieties by its very large, light-colored leaves and the larger, wider flowers, with more red in the center and a vanilla scent.
The flowers of Hoya australis last about a week and have the most incredible, strongly spicy fragrance.
Characteristics: Hoya Australis grows and blooms easily. After the appearance of the peduncles, the location should not be changed, because the buds may fall. It is recommended for beginners, because it is easy to root in a permeable soil. All varieties of the H. australis complex are very decorative, are not pretentious in care and bloom well from August to November.
Popular names: Tear of Our Lady, Wax Flower.
Leaf size: length 7-11 cm and width 3-5 cm
Flower diameter: approx. 2 cm
Corona: white with red center, 20-40/umbela
Duration of flowers: about 7 days
Placement: bright area (preferably without direct sun), but also develops well in the shade
Watering: moderate, water stagnation in the pot should be avoided. In summer, on hot days, spray the plant as often as possible.

Attention - the buds/peduncles/flowers can be damaged/lost during transport, but usually the peduncles produce new generations of buds. When you purchase specimens with peduncles/buds/flowers, you assume this risk.
