Gymnocalycium ragonesei
Gymnocalycium ragonesei is a species of cactus native to Argentina. This succulent plant has a globular shape, reaching a diameter of up to 7 cm.
The surface of the cactus is light green, covered with numerous rounded tubercles. From each tubercle grow thin spines, brown or gray in color, forming an attractive pattern.
The flowers of Gymnocalycium ragonesei are small, white or pale pink, appearing at the top of the plant. The flowers can reach up to 3 cm in diameter, adding a touch of color and contrast to the plant.
Gymnocalycium ragonesei is an easy-to-care-for plant that thrives best in indirect or filtered light conditions. It prefers well-drained soil to avoid root rot. This plant requires a resting period during winter, when watering should be reduced.
