Gymnocalycium Friedrichii (oltott)

Gymnocalycium friedrichii is a species of cactus native to Argentina. It is a small-sized cactus, having a globular shape and reaching heights of about 5-10 cm with a similar diameter.

The plant is covered with short and stiff spines, which can vary in color from off-white to dark brown. The spines are arranged around the body of the cactus, giving it a prickly appearance.

Gymnocalycium friedrichii produces small flowers, usually in shades of pink or pink-purple. The flowers appear on the upper part of the cactus and add a decorative element during the blooming period.
