Ginkgo Biloba trees are deciduous trees, shade trees, with unique leaves, linked to a primitive family of trees that existed 160 million years ago in China. Considered to be the oldest tree species in the world, geological evidence of ginkgo dates back to the Mesozoic era, 200 million years ago.
Ginkgo Biloba are planted around temples in Japan and are regarded as sacred. From the leaves of these trees, herbal medicines are made, popular worldwide, especially in Asian cultures.
