Gardenia Jasminoides 'Golden Crown' (tarka, kertben is ellenálló)

Gardenia Jasminoides 'Golden Crown' (Rolaro), also known as Variegated Gardenia, Gardenia of the Garden, or Hardy Gardenia. It is a striking variety that can be grown both indoors and in the garden, provided it is planted in a place that offers protection from cold winter winds.

The flowers are equally special – delicate, strongly fragrant, in shades of white-cream-yellow. The color of the flowers changes as they mature.

The leaves are glossy, lance-shaped, narrow with variegated edges.

At maturity, the plant reaches a height of about 100 cm. It grows compactly, in the form of a bush.

It withstands garden temperatures down to -10°C. Plant in a spot sheltered from blizzards and drafts.
