Echinocereus viereckii subs. morricalii is a cactus originating from Mexico, which grows on rocks and calcareous hills, at altitudes of 1000-2000 m. It has a cylindrical stem, branched from the base, green, with prominent veins.

Care:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. It can be exposed to direct sunlight for a few hours in the morning or evening.

Temperature: The ideal temperature is between 18 and 24°C. Tolerates low temperatures up to 5°C .

Watering: Water the plant when the soil is completely dry. Water carefully, avoiding overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Use filtered or rainwater at room temperature.

Humidity: Does not require high humidity.

Soil: Use a well-drained soil especially for cacti. You can prepare your own mixture of leaf soil, peat and perlite.

Fertilization: Fertilize the plant once a month, during the growth period (spring-summer), with a diluted fertilizer for cacti.

Height with pots included: approx. 12 cm
