Full description and specifications

Echinocereus subinermis is a cactus native to Mexico, known for its unique and attractive appearance. The plant has a cylindrical or slightly oval shape, reaching moderate sizes. Its surface is covered with short spines, often absent or very fine, which gives it a friendlier appearance than other cacti. The color is usually an intense green, with shades that can vary depending on the growing conditions. During the flowering period, Echinocereus subinermis produces spectacular, large flowers.

The flowers appear at the top of the plant and can attract attention with their size and beauty. This plant is appreciated in ornamental gardening for its resistance and for its simple but impressive beauty.

Echinocereus subinermis prefers a lot of light. Make sure that the plant receives at least 5-6 hours of direct sunlight per day. It can be kept outside during the summer in a sunny place, but must be brought inside during the winter in areas where temperatures drop below zero.

This cactus requires moderate watering. During the growing season (spring-summer), water the plant when the soil becomes completely dry. Reduce watering in winter, keeping the soil almost dry, as the plant enters a period of rest. Use a well-drained cactus soil mix.

Height with pots included: approx. 10 cm
The plant is sold without flowers. The displayed price is for 1 pot.
