Drosera, also known as the Dew of Heaven, is a fascinating insect-eating plant found in Romania in protected areas. The leaves of Drosera resemble tentacles with hairs. The plant secretes a sticky liquid that attracts insects, which then become stuck, are wrapped by the plant's hairs, and are fully digested within a few days.

IMPORTANT: Insect-eating / meat-eating plants pose no danger to people. Their digestive juice is at most a good hand disinfectant!
