Dendrobium Taiwan Helix (Den. helix × Doctor Uthai)

Dendrobium Taiwan Helix is a hybrid in the Dendrobium genus (Orchidaceae family), registered in 2023 by Orchis (Dendrobium helix × Dendrobium Doctor Uthai).

Botanical characteristics:

• Flowers: Approximately 5-6 cm in diameter. Twisted petals inherited from Dendrobium helix (Spatulata section). The color varies, usually in light shades with green or pink accents, depending on the Doctor Uthai parent. Possibly fragrant - Fragrance unconfirmed.
• Habit: Medium-sized plant with hard-cane canes. Intermediate to warm growth. Mature height usually reaches 45-60 cm.
• Distinctive features: A recent hybrid that combines the helicoidal petals of D. helix with the rounder shape of Doctor Uthai. Blooms on mature canes.
