Full description and specifications

Catasetum Ryan Harrington - hybrid known for its spectacular and colorful flowers. This hybrid is the result of the cross between Catasetum tenebrosum and Catasetum denticulatum. The flowers are of medium size and show vibrant colors, from yellow to shades of brown and green, with a strong and pleasant fragrance.

One of the notable characteristics of the Catasetum genus is the fact that the plants can produce distinct male and female flowers on the same specimen, depending on environmental conditions, which makes them unique in the orchid world. Catasetum Ryan Harrington stands out for this variability and for its ability to bloom several times a year, if the optimal light and humidity conditions are met.

The flowers of this variety naturally show great variability.
Flower size: approx. 4-6 cm

Fragrant flowers: Yes

Note: Dormant plants, imported from Thailand, with a reduced root system (partially cut roots) in order to be imported. They were replanted in our greenhouse by adding bark. The reduction of the root system is generally recommended for autumn replanting, after the plants go dormant.
