Camellia williamsii 'Debbie' is a popular variety of Camellia williamsii, a Camellia hybrid obtained by crossing Camellia japonica and Camellia saluenensis. This plant is known for its attractive flowers and long blooming period.

Camellia 'Debbie' is a shrub with relatively slow growth, which can reach heights of 2-4 meters, with a dense crown and arching branches. The leaves are dark green, glossy, and lance-shaped, with a texture similar to tanned leather.

The flowers of this variety are large, double or semi-double, measuring about 10-12 cm in diameter. The flower color ranges from deep pink to purplish pink, with a darker shade towards the edges of the petals. The flowers appear from winter to early spring and have a subtle fragrance.
Placement: The camellia needs plenty of light but does not tolerate direct sunlight throughout the day. It is recommended to place it in cool, partially shaded but bright spaces, with constant humidity. In the climate conditions of Romania, the plant withstands outdoor conditions well—provided it is planted in the garden in a sheltered spot, protected from wind and blizzard. It does NOT tolerate large temperature differences (moving between indoors and outdoors, from warm to cold or vice versa)!

Soil: prefers slightly acidic soil but also grows well in neutral soil—in the garden, this can be improved by adding sulfur supplements.
Propagation: by cuttings.
Withstands temperatures down to -15 degrees Celsius.
Height including pot: approx. 40-60 cm

Pot diameter: 19 cm
