Calathea rufibarba ‘Elgergrass’ is an exceptionally elegant variety, appreciated for its long, narrow, and slightly wavy leaves that create a delicate and airy effect. Unlike other Calathea grown for their decorative leaf patterns, this variety impresses with the fine texture of its foliage and its lush appearance, resembling a living fountain.

The upper side of the leaves is a deep green, while the underside features rich burgundy-purple shades, offering spectacular contrasts when the leaves move or rise at night.
