Nyári orgona - Buddleja davidii 'Black Knight'

Buddleja davidii 'Black Knight' - commonly known as 'Summer Lilac'. A fast-growing shrub that withstands almost any environmental conditions but blooms more abundantly when exposed to good sunlight.

Blooms very abundantly during the warm season, with flowers appearing in large clusters, strongly fragrant, and producing a lot of nectar. During the warm season, it is usually the biggest attraction for butterflies and pollinators.

To delay blooming, some gardeners drastically reduce the size of the plants in spring. Annual pruning is also necessary to control the plant’s spread, as it tends to multiply relatively quickly.
