Bougainvillea 'White’- Floarea de hartie alba
Bougainvillea, popularly known as the paper flower, is a decorative flowering plant native to South America and can be an excellent choice for gardens or terraces. No one can think of any landscape in Greece during summer without including the impressive bougainvillea that add color to every corner.
Watering - Bougainvillea needs moderate and regular watering. It is important not to overwater the soil, as this can lead to root rot and other problems. Watering should be more frequent during the growing season and less frequent during winter.
Soil - Bougainvillea prefers well-drained, sandy soil. It is important to avoid soils that are too dense or clayey that retain water.
Light - Bougainvillea needs plenty of light and prefers well-lit places. Choose a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Fertilizer - Bougainvillea requires regular fertilization to grow and produce abundant flowers. Use a special fertilizer for flowering plants and apply it every 2-3 weeks during the growing season.
Pruning - Bougainvillea can be pruned to prevent the roots from becoming too large and to encourage dense branch growth. Cut branches that have grown too much or look unhealthy.
Protection against cold - Bougainvillea does not tolerate low temperatures or frost.
Attention! The flowers of this plant are thermosensitive - this plant may arrive to you without flowers, but it is capable of blooming again in the following weeks. The displayed price is for a plant with or without flowers.
