Begonia Maculata “Bubbles Compact” - babyplant
Begonia Maculata, native to Brazil, is undoubtedly one of the most striking begonias. The underside of the leaves is a deep red, while the upper side is an olive green with silver spots.
During the flowering season (spring - autumn), Begonia maculata produces white flowers in a cluster on a single stem.
Light: The begonia needs a bright spot, but away from the strong afternoon sun.
Temperature: 18-22 °C, with humidity above 50%.
Water: Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Do not overwater as the Begonia family is particularly prone to root rot.
Fertilizer: Recommended 2 or 3 times a month with a balanced plant feed.
Substrate: The best soil is a mix of sand, clay, and loam.
Height with pot included approx. 12 cm
Note: Begonia leaves are sensitive to transport, so some specimens may have leaves with defects. The decorative pot is not included in the price.
