Care
- Light : Prefer bright, indirect light, without direct exposure to the strong sun, which can burn the leaves. A location with filtered light is ideal.
- Watering : The soil must be kept moist, but not excessively so. Let the top layer of the soil dry slightly between waterings. Avoid watering directly on the leaves to prevent diseases.
- Humidity : Begonia prefers a high level of humidity. Using a tray with gravel and water under the pot or a humidifier can help maintain the desired humidity.
- Soil : A well-drained soil mix, rich in organic matter, is ideal.
- Temperature : Prefers warm temperatures, between 18°C and 24°C, and must be protected from cold air currents and low temperatures.
- Fertilizer : Apply a diluted liquid fertilizer for indoor plants once a month during the period of active growth (spring-summer).
