Begónia Amphioxus
Begonia Amphioxus is a species of begonia valued for its unique leaves, which are usually elongated and feature a beautiful pattern in shades of green and reddish-purple. This plant originates from the tropical regions of Asia, especially Malaysia and Indonesia.
Its leaves are very decorative, having an almost shiny appearance and a velvety texture. It usually grows best in conditions of high humidity and good indirect light. Being a tropical plant, it prefers warmer temperatures and does not tolerate frost.
Caring for Begonia Amphioxus requires well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Watering should be done carefully, avoiding overwatering. At the same time, the plant needs atmospheric moisture, so a water sprayer can be useful.
Note: Begonia leaves are sensitive to transport, so some specimens may have leaves with defects.
