Full description and specifications

Anthurium, also known as the "Flamingo Flower" or "Painter's Palette," is a popular houseplant native to Central and South America. They are known for their glossy leaves and colorful spathes that surround a cylindrical inflorescence, called a spadix. To keep an Anthurium plant healthy and thriving, follow these care instructions:

Light : Anthurium prefers indirect, but bright light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves. If you don't have enough natural light, you can also use artificial light.

Watering : Make sure the soil is well-drained and the plant is watered regularly. Let the soil dry out on the surface between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.

Humidity : Anthurium is a tropical plant, so it prefers high humidity. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves with water, placing the plant on a tray of wet rocks, or using a humidifier.

Temperature : Anthurium prefers temperatures between 20-30 degrees Celsius and does not tolerate temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. Avoid placing the plant in drafts or near heat sources or air conditioning.

General Care : Remove dead leaves and flowers to keep the plant clean and healthy. The plant can be fertilized once a month during the growing season with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer.

Repotting : Anthurium should be repotted every two years or when the roots start to grow through the drainage holes. Use a well-drained soil mix suitable for epiphytic plants.

Flower size varies depending on the maturity of the plant and growing conditions.
