Aloe variegata is a fairly easy plant to care for, preferring well-drained soil and exposure to sun or indirect light. It is sensitive to frost and excess moisture.

Regarding care, overwatering is the most common problem; it is best to wait for the soil to dry out between waterings. Like other succulents, Aloe variegata can be propagated by cutting and planting shoots or by seeds.
