Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale' Mint Variegata

Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale’ Mint Variegated is a collector’s variety, spectacular for its thick, textured leaves with a “scale” pattern, overlaid with variegation in mint, cream, and green shades. Each leaf looks different: some have fine speckles, others have larger lighter areas, making each plant truly unique from one specimen to another.

Botanical characteristics

• thick, slightly glossy leaves with pronounced “dragon scale” texture

• variegation in cool shades (mint/cream) on a green background

• growth in waves, with new leaves appearing periodically

• indoor plant with a premium look, very photogenic

Growing conditions

• Light: plenty of indirect light; avoid direct sun (it can burn the lighter areas)

• Watering: moderate and careful; allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. The substrate should not remain constantly wet

• Optimal temperature: 20–28°C

• Humidity: moderate to high; very dry air can cause affected edges/tips
