Adenium arabicum is a spectacular species of desert rose , highly prized in succulent and bonsai collections for its thick, sculptural caudex, which stores water and gives it a unique appearance, similar to miniature trunks. The foliage is dark green, glossy, and at maturity the plant produces pink, red or white flowers, etc. , depending on the variety. Compared to Adenium obesum , this species develops a wider and more massive caudex, being highly sought after by enthusiasts.

🌿 Botanical characteristics:

  • Full name: Adenium arabicum

  • Common names: Desert rose, Desert rose

  • Family: Apocynaceae

  • Origin: Arabian Peninsula

  • Growth type: Perennial succulent, with thick caudex and sculptural branching

  • Leaves: Large, dark green, glossy, densely arranged on the branches

  • Flowers: Large, trumpet-shaped, appear in summer

🌞 Growing conditions:

  • Light: Prefers full sun or very bright light

  • Soil: Very well drained, sandy-stony (mix for cacti and succulents)

  • Watering: Reduced; water only when the substrate is completely dry

Height with pot included: 20-30 cm

The ceramic pot is not included in the price.

Each specimen is unique in the shape of the caudex and branches, so there may be differences from the presentation images.
