Full description and specifications
The Peperomia family is a very large plant family, consisting of approximately 500 species. Most Peperomia varieties come from the Amazon basin in South America, where they grow in warm conditions.
Peperomia Piccolo Banda has thick leaves, with shades of silver-green and dark green, sometimes purple, striped lengthwise, on fleshy red stems.
Light: Place in a bright place, but not in direct sunlight.
Soil: Grows well in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soils or on peat-based soils (2 parts peat and 1 part perlite or sand)
Temperature: Prefer temperatures of 18-24 °C, not lower than 15 °C.
Water: water moderately, but consistently during the growing season. Let the soil dry out between waterings. Reduce watering during the winter season.
Fertilizer: Fertilize monthly in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer. Do not fertilize during the winter season.
