Stapelia, popularly called Serif Star, is an easy-to-care succulent plant, originally from Africa.
Characteristics:
- location: in a bright area, also supports direct exposure to the sun
- temperature: supports negative temperatures of -5 degrees Celsius
- watering: water regularly from March to September, letting the substrate dry between waterings. In the winter months, watering is reduced or it is left unwatered but placed in a cooler area.
- the substrate: well-drained, sandy (two parts universal soil, one part sand and one part perlite/pumice stone).
- flowering period: summer - autumn
